An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Childcare Lawyer to join a friendly local authority in the East Midlands.

The successful Child Care Lawyer will take on a variety of child care matters, including, but not exclusive to:

  • Handle a caseload of care proceedings
  • Conduct advocacy as required
  • Safeguarding matters
  • Child Protection Orders
  • Special Guardianship
  • Fostering Legislation
  • Adoption Law

The local authority is ideally recruiting on a full-time basis, but candidates who require part-time work will also be considered.

Candidates who are from either a public sector or private-practice background will be considered.

This role will initially begin on a 3 month basis, will a strong possibility of the role being extended beyond that. This role is to start immediately.
