Childcare Lawyer

Childcare Lawyer required for an initial 3 month period, with a possibility for extension, to join a local authority based in Buckinghamshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Childcare Lawyer looking to further their experience within public child law in a well-established Local Authority. Alternatively, this is the perfect role for an experienced childcare lawyer who is looking to join a friendly team and have the added benefit of a flexible work life balance, which Local Authorities often provide.

Our client is looking for a childcare seeking someone to start on short notice but can wait a short period of time for the right candidate.

We are ideally looking for candidates who are able to undertake a varied workload and have experience or knowledge of:

  • Conducting pre proceeding matters
  • Attending LPM and PLO meetings
  • Managing a busy caseload of childcare matters
  • Advocacy experience is ideal, but not essential

The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, however our client is happy to consider candidates at any level of experience.

The ideal Childcare Lawyer will come from a local authority background, although candidates with private practice childcare experience will be considered. In return, there may be some element to work from home and offer flexible working hours for the right candidate.
