A brilliant opportunity has come up in a south London Borough Council for a childcare lawyer. While this is a locum contract, 3 to 6 months, there is a likelihood of extension.
The childcare lawyer will be expected to deal with a variety of childcare legal matters, inclusive of:
- Interim care orders
- Emergency protection orders
- PLO meetings
- Issue resolution hearings
In terms of qualifications, the childcare lawyer is required to be a certified solicitor, or equivalent. Experience in childcare law is essential and having worked with Local Authorities in the past is desirable, but our client will happily consider those from private practice with a relevant skill-set.
