A central London Borough Council are seeking a Childcare Lawyer to join their team to start mid - January on a locum basis of 3-6 months with the view for extension. They offer 1 day working from home and flexible working hours.
This is a great opportunity for the childcare lawyer, who will be expected to deal with a variety of childcare matters, such as:
- Case Management
- Judicial Reviews
- Care Proceedings
- Non-molestation orders
- PLO matters
- Advocacy in the family, magistrates and crown court
The successful Childcare Lawyer would ideally have experience dealing with a mixed caseload and advocacy but will consider those with transferable and relevant skills. Experience in working within local authorities is desirable, but not vital, as our client is more than happy to consider childcare lawyers from a private practice background or New Zealand/ Australian Qualified Lawyers with transferable skills.
