We have an exciting opportunity for a Childcare Lawyer to join an East London Borough Council on a locum 3 monthly basis.
The contract has potential to be extended far beyond the initial 3 month period.
The Childcare Lawyer will be joining the childcare and safeguarding team, dealing with a range of issues such as neglect and abuse. They will be attending PLO meetings, processing emergency protection orders and conducting advocacy in the Family Court.
The Council offer 2 days remote working from home. They also offer a competitive rate, regularly reviewed and bench-marked against other local authorities. Transport links inside and outside of London are conveniently located close-by the offices.
The Childcare Lawyer should be a qualified lawyer, or equivalent, with a firm grounding in childcare law. Our client will consider Childcare Lawyers from a private practice background if they have handled public childcare law matters and care cases.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Alexis Aarons in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
