Childcare Lawyer required to join a large, well-respected Local Authority based in East Anglia, over a good length of contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified who wants to develop their skills, or if you are an experienced Childcare Lawyer who can hit the ground running.
Childcare Lawyer duties
The successful candidate will have experience dealing with public care matters and management of their own caseload. Duties to include, however not limited to;
* Handing a caseload of childcare matters, providing advice on all aspects of public law children matters
* Advocacy, including contested and non-contested hearings (this is not essential)
* Acting as a legal advisor to a wide range of clients in relation to their Children's social care function
* Attend meetings and provide legal advice as required
While previous experience working within local government is desirable, qualified solicitors from a private practice background will definitely be considered. You willl join a supportive team, who is happy to train if required.
The successful Childcare Lawyer will be offered an excellent package, including a good length of contract, competitive hourly rate and a good level of flexibility; i.e. home working and condensed hours.
