Sellick Partnership are delighted to be assisting an East London Borough Council in their search for a Childcare Lawyer to join their team on a locum 3 month contract with the view to extend.

The Childcare Lawyer should have experience of public childcare law. Those who have worked within a local authority before are highly sought by our client, but they will strongly consider those from other backgrounds, so long as they have the aforementioned public childcare experience.

The duties of the Childcare Lawyer will include matters such as:

  • Care cases and pre-proceedings
  • Care orders, such as emergency protection and interim care
  • Section 7s and 37s

The Council offer flexible working arrangements, such as 1 day working from home, which helps enable a good work-life balance. Their offices are also located nearby to public transport links.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Alexis Aarons in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
