Are you a Childcare Lawyer open to a great new opportunity?
Sellick Partnership are currently looking for a Childcare Lawyer to join a South London Borough Council. For the time being the role will be fully remote and is initially a 3-month locum position.
The Childcare Lawyer will be taking on a caseload of 'live' files, including matters such as:
- Care cases and pre-proceedings
- Handling section 7s and 37s
- Attending PLO meetings
- Processing emergency protection orders, interim care orders, etc.
It is essential that the Childcare Lawyer should have handled public childcare law matters, and while prior experience of working in local government is highly desirable, it is not a requirement for the role.
Once lockdown is lifted, the Council are located conveniently near to public transport links and they offer flexible working arrangements, such as 1 day working from home.
If you are interested, please apply immediately to be considered for short-listing. Alternatively, should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying, please do not hesitate to contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
