A great new opportunity for a Childcare Lawyer!

Our client, an East London Borough Council, are looking for a Childcare Lawyer to join their welcoming team on a locum contract, which is expected to extend beyond this initial period.

They need a Childcare Lawyer with local authority experience to:

  • Manage a mixed caseload, including care cases, pre-proceedings and PLOs
  • Provide advice to the council and clients
  • Undertake advocacy
  • Take on some Adult Social Care matters

This is an unmissable chance to join this diverse borough at such an interesting time!

The Childcare Lawyer should have experience of dealing with care proceedings, public law and judicial review matters. Our client has specified that local government experience is highly desirable for this role due to the largely unsupervised nature of remote working.

Initially the Childcare Lawyer will be working from home, returning to the council offices in the future. Once in the offices, the council offer flexible working patterns, such as working from home and flexi-time, allowing for a great work-life balance.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
