Are you an experienced Childcare Lawyer seeking your next challenge within a London based Local Authority over a long term contract?
The successful candidate will be required to pick up a caseload from the outset, therefore it is important you have previous experience carrying a full childcare caseload with minimal supervision.
Duties to include:
- Provide advice, representation and undertake research relating to childcare matters, including; public law care proceedings, adoption, child protection and fostering
- Carry a caseload of of around 13-14 care cases
- Attending PLO meetings
Advocacy is not essential for this post.
The successful Childcare Lawyer will ideally be available to start in October, full-time hours and will be working remotely for the time being. My client will consider flexible work arrangements for employees and new recruits wherever possible. We welcome applications from candidates whose experience matches our criteria and who require flexible hours or working terms, such as part-time, compressed hours, flexible start/finish times.
Although childcare experience within public sector is ideal; those from private sectors with public care experience will be considered.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for shortlisting. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Leah Edgar in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
