Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to a fantastic opportunity for a Childcare Lawyer to join a large, well-respected London Borough Council on a locum basis.
My client is ideally looking for someone to start in mid-December but is willing to wait until January for the right candidate. Therefore, even if you have a notice period of 4-6 weeks you can still be considered for this position!
Duties will include:
- Handling a caseload of care proceedings and pre proceedings
- Providing advice on any public law childcare legislation
- Conducting advocacy if/when required
- Education/SEN matters (desirable)
This assingment is expected to be long-term; it will begin on a 3-month contract and will be extended on a rolling basis.
You must be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with previous local authority experience to be considered for this post.
