Exceptional new opportunity for a Childcare Lawyer to join a popular London Borough council on a12-month locum contract!

My client leads a well-respected, organised and close-nit team and is open to considering applicants without prior public sector experience, as well as junior lawyers looking to develop their skills.

The successful Childcare Lawyer will be required to conduct:

  • Care proceedings and pre proceedings
  • Providing advice on any public law childcare legislation
  • Age assessment cases
  • Advocacy is optional (they have in-house advocates)

The role is remote-working for the forseeable future, however you may be required to attend the office occasionally once covid-19 restrictions ease. There will be plenty of flexibility.

With this being a long-term locum assignment within an excellent team, you will have the amazing opportunity to really develop professionally and grow within this role. We have always had excellent feedback about the team and management from locums who have worked there.

  • Long-term role
  • Competitive hourly rate
  • Remote working
  • Interesting and varied caseload
  • Modern IT systems and new laptops
  • Friendly and supportive team that believe in progression
