Childcare Lawyer

Sellick Partnership is currently working with a well-respected Local Authority who is seeking a Childcare Lawyer. This assignment can be conducted remotely and will begin on a 3 month contract with a view to extend long-term on a rolling basis.

As a Childcare Lawyer, you will apply your knowledge and experience to pick up a busy caseload and hit the ground running

The Childcare Lawyer will pick up duties which may include;

  • Hold a caseload of care cases and pre-proceedings matters
  • Advise social workers
  • Liaise with counsel and external parties
  • Attending meetings
  • Draft applications and documents

The council are a fantastic team with a great reputation; the Childcare Lawyer will feel welcomed and supported.

Prior experience in childcare law is essential while local authority experience is desirable. The Childcare Lawyer may have to pick up advocacy.
