Childcare Lawyer required to join a highly sought after local authority based in Central London for an initial 3 month period.
This is an rare opportunity to join a well-run team with paralegal support, within a local authority renowned for their high standards. They are looking for an ambitious Childcare Lawyer who is able to hit the ground running and will embrace this fast-paced position.
The successful Childcare Lawyer will be undertaking their own caseload of 8-10 care cases and 5-6 in pre-proceedings, alongside ad-hoc queries. Additionally you will be required to undertake legal planning meetings and participate in the duty rota. However advocacy is not required for this role, as you will instruct counsel due to the high volume of cases.
This Central London office is in a fantastic location. The nearest public transport links are within walking distance, and they are a stone's throw away from shops, restaurants and lovely gardens.
The ideal Childcare Lawyer will be available on short notice. Previous public sector experience is desirable, although Family Lawyers from Private Practice backgrounds who hold public childcare experience are encouraged to apply.
