Childcare Lawyer required to join a Local Authority based in Merseyside for an initial period of 3 months.
Our client is seeking a Childcare Lawyer to join their supportive and friendly team ideally on a full-time locum basis.
The ideal candidates will be either a qualified solicitor or barrister and will prior have experience of dealing with a busy caseload of childcare matters so will be able to hit the ground running in this fast-paced role.
Experience of conducting advocacy is essential, with the successful candidate required to represent at both contested and non-contested hearings.
Prior experience working within Local Government is preferable, although experienced Childcare Lawyers from a private practice background are also encouraged to apply.
The role is due to a maternity leave so will initially be for a period of 3 months with the potential to be extended thereafter.
