Friendly Local Authority seeking Childcare Legal Assistant!

A well-regarded London Borough Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Childcare Legal Assistant on a locum basis. The contract will begin on 3 months and is likely to be extended on a rolling basis.

The role of the Childcare Legal Assistant is to provide legal support to the Childcare team. You will need to attend the offices occasionally on a rota basis with the other support staff. This may be once every few weeks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting fee earners in the preparation and case management of cases to include preparation of bundles
  • Organising meetings when required
  • Opening and closing cases on the case management system
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • General administrative duties

**It is an essential requirement that you have previous experience working in a Local Authority**
