Are you looking for a Childcare Legal Assistant role working within a well-regarded London Borough Council?

We are recruiting to a fantastic opportunity for a locum Childcare Legal Assistant to join the Childcare team a London Borough Council.

The assignment is an initial 3 month contract with the view to extend on an on-going basis. The role is paying between £18 - £24 per hour (umbrella). The role requires somebody to attend the office 4 days per week, to work remotely for one day.

The responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:

  • Supporting a team of 6-8 Childcare Lawyers
  • Preparing applications and documents for Court
  • Section 7 and 37 reports
  • Allocating duty law cases to the team of lawyers
  • Organising duty
  • Scope for managing own caseload in the future

The role would be suited to somebody with legal qualifications, i.e. Law Degree, CILEX qualification, Legal Practice Course, who has a particular interest in gaining experience and building a career within Childcare Law. Ideally, they would be computer The successful Childcare Legal Assistant must be willing to commute 4 days per week to Central London.
