Sellick Partnership are recruiting a Childcare Legal Officer for a local authority based in the East Midlands. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a childcare environment.
The key responsibilities of the successful Childcare Legal Officer will include, but are not exclusive to:
- To act on behalf of the customers in legal proceedings and to attend and advise at meetings both internal and external
- To support other childcare solicitors in the team
- Drafting witness statements
- Compiling evidence
- Preparing bundles
- Picking up ad-hoc tasks
This role will initially begin on a 3 month basis, but has the potential to turn into a more long term assignment.
Our client is offering some flexibility with home working.
Our client will consider applicants who are from a private practice background, and those who already have previous experience working for a public sector organisation.
