Sellick Partnership are currently seeking a Legal Officer to join a well-respected Local Authority based in the East Midlands for a Locum assignment.
The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive Childcare team and take on a variety of work including:
- Assisting solicitors and creating and updating bundles for court
- Chasing evidence and other court documents
- Drafting care and supervision orders
- Liaising with third parties and witnesses
- Attending PLO meetings
Experience of working within Childcare/Family is essential but we're open to speaking with candidates with either public or private sector experience.
This position is initially until May 2020, but will be reviewed and potentially extended nearer the time. This is a full time role, however a 4 day working week may be considered if required.
There are excellent transport links nearby and the offices are a short walk from the train station.
