An East Midlands based Local Authority is seeking a Childcare Legal Officer to join their team on a locum basis. This role offers the opportunity for candidates to enhance their legal experience within a dynamic team.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who has experience with public childcare matters, however, candidates who have previous experience in a family law team will also be considered.
The successful Childcare Legal Officer will be required to:
- Draft witness statements
- Requesting disclosure of medical and police records
- Draft placement applications
- Liaise and correspond with social workers and solicitors
The Childcare Legal Officer will be available immediately on a full-time basis, and will be able to commit to a minimum of 3 months for this assignment.
