A fantastic opportunity for a Childcare Lawyer to join a popular North London Borough Council on a locum contract covering a maternity leave. The contract is initially for 6 months but is very likely to be extended.
The Childcare Lawyer will be handling a caseload of 10 care cases in proceedings, they will also be dealing with pre-proceedings, PLO matters and providing advice.
The council are currently operating fully remotely, as such, the Childcare Lawyer will initially be working from home. The plan post-lockdown is to work 3-days remotely with just 2 in the office.
Our client is looking for an experienced Childcare Lawyer who will hit the ground running. Previous experience of working in a local authority is necessary for the role.
The Council have a great reputation and once on-site, offer a subsidised canteen and conveniently located parking. They are also nearby public transport links.
