Sellick Partnership is working in partnership with a highly successful and stable in-house legal services team to recruit a locum Childcare Solicitor. This public sector organisation in the Midlands is looking to strengthen its current team with the addition of two new locum Childcare Solicitors. As a locum Childcare Solicitor you will help deliver effective legal advice and advocacy work in the family courts. You will carry your own caseload of 10-15 care files and shall have the added bonus of remote court hearings at present. You will also work very closely with the internal clients you provide advice to, assisting in developing successful long term working relationships.

The successful locum Childcare Solicitor will ideally have previous knowledge and experience working within childcare or family law. You will be able to handle a caseload of public law children's matters, dealing with drafting and any related advocacy. Your experience may have been gained in a local authority or private practice setting. This is a perfect opportunity for a private practice solicitor to gain a 360 degree view of childcare law and experience local authority work.
