Childcare Locum Lawyer is required for a local authority based in Hertfordshire for an initial 3 month contract and the possiblity to extend thereafter.
The role will be undertaken completely remotely in the first instance and you will be conducting your own cases in public care proceedings which will include a range of matters at varying complexity. From initial instruction through to advocacy in the Family Courts which are currently being undertaken remotely. There is also inhouse counsel should you require to use this.
You will have access to a team of legal assistants and a team of paralegals who are really well equipped to assist you with producing documentation and running with PLO and pre proceeding matters under supervision which allows you to really focus on your casework.
