Locum Childcare Lawyer

Northern Home Counties

£40-50 p/h

Locum Childcare Lawyer is required to join a highly respected local authority based in Northern Home Counties for a period of 6 months initially and the view for extension thereafter due to a maternity leave cover within the team.

This local authority has an exceptional reputation in the market and is a highly sought after place to work. The post will start on a remote working basis but they will be looking for some office presence 2 days a week once normality resumes and the courts open back fully.

Our client is happy to consider local government or private practice candidates who have experience of undertaking public childcare cases. They are happy to consider those with 2 years PQE as a minimum ideally due to the need for someone to pick up an existing caseload of matters while picking up new files.

They have great paralegal support in the team and can instruct counsel or team members for advocacy if required.

We encourage interested applicants seeking part time or full time to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
