Calling all Paralegals! Sellick Partnership are seeking experienced Paralegals and Legal Assistants to join a Local Authority based in the West Midlands.

The successful paralegal will join a friendly and supportive Childcare team and take on a varied workload, which may consist of:

  • Creating and updating bundles for court
  • Chasing evidence and other court documents
  • Assisting solicitors with preparing court documents
  • Liaising with third parties and witnesses
  • Updating the solicitor on case progression
  • Attending PLO meetings, taking minutes

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a childcare or family law team. Along with a proactive attitude to work and collaborative working, displaying a strong eye for detail and meticulous proof reading skills are essential. However, applicants will also be considered who have a background in another litigious area of the law.

The successful Childcare Legal Assistant will be available to start immediately, full time for an initial 3 months+ period.
