Childcare Legal Executive/ Solicitor

£42 per hour

Up to 6 months

A Childcare Solicitor/ Legal Executive is required in a South East Local Auuthority. My client is looking for an experienced Childcare Solicitor or Legal Executive to join them on a locum basis for an initil 6 months.

As a Childcare solicitor/ Legal Executive you will carry a full caseload of Childcare matters, which will include Care cases, Pre-proceedings and some Private Law matters. The role is varied and you will:

Key responsibilities and cases will include:

  • Mental Health
  • Neglect
  • Substance misuse
  • International element
  • Designated authority
  • Appeals to judge decisions
  • Attending PLO meetings

Required skills and experience of the Childcare Legal Executive/ Solicitor

  • 3 years+ experience working in Public Child Law
