Calling all newly qualified solicitors! Are you a junior solicitor and looking to get into Public Sector? Sellick Partnership are recruiting a Newly Qualified Lawyer to join a local authority based in the East Midlands.

This is a long-term assignment of 12 months and is to start immediately. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a junior childcare lawyer to build on their skill set in a busy yet supportive environment.

The successful Junior Solicitor will take on a varied caseload of Childcare matters, including, but not exclusive to:

  • Safeguarding matters
  • Child Protection Orders
  • Special Guardianship
  • Fostering Legislation
  • Adoption Law

We also encourage applications from qualified lawyers who are from a private-practice background but are looking to move into the public sector.

Previous experience dealing with childcare law is essential for this position.
