Continuous Remote working Locum post

Up to 6 months

A Childcare solicitor is required in a South East Local Auuthority. My client is looking for an experienced Childcare solicitor to join them on a locum basis.

As a Childcare solicitor you will carry a full caseload of Childcare matters, which will include Care cases, Pre-proceedings and some Private Law matters. The role is varied and you will:

Key responsibilities and cases will include:

  • Mental Health
  • Neglect
  • Substance misuse
  • Adoption
  • International element
  • Designated authority
  • Appeals to judge decisions
  • Attending PLO meetings

Required skills and experience of the Private Client Solicitor

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE experience
  • Public Childcare Law experience within a Local Authority
