Great opportunity for a Childcare Team Leader coming up with a popular East London Borough Council.

This locum opportunity is an unmissable role for a Childcare Lawyer with experience of handling a caseload of complex care matters and who has ideally held managerial responsibility.

The Childcare Team Leader will be working remotely, only going into the office if possible, on an ad hoc bases, so this is open to candidates located all over the UK.

Duties will include:

  • Line management of 2-3 childcare lawyers and 2 legal assistants
  • Managing a caseload of care cases, often complex
  • Deputising in respect of children's matters for the Senior Adult and Children's Safeguarding Lawyer when the senior is not available
  • Undertaking advocacy, as and when required
