A great opportunity for a Civil Litigation Lawyer!

Our client, a London Borough Council, are looking for a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join their team on a 3-month locum contract, which is expected to be extended.

For now, the role will be conducted remotely, returning to the council offices once possible, with 1-day working from home.

The Civil Litigation Lawyer will be undertaking duties including, but not limited to:

  • Providing advice and assistance to the council on various matters, such as bankruptcy claims
  • Determining legal points of dispute, such as defended debt claims and planning disputes
  • Drafting claims, including witness evidence in relation to harassment and ASB

Ideally our client is looking for a Civil Litigation Lawyer who has handled similar matters before within a local authority or public sector organisation.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for shortlisting. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
