A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority based in the West Midlands.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the working of Civil Procedure Rules. They will also have previous public sector experience, ideally in a local government role.
The successful Civil Litigation Lawyer will be required to take on a varied load of litigation work, including, but not exclusive to:
- Housing matters such as disrepair and possession proceedings
- Request for injunctions and housing applications
- Contract reviews and disputes
- School appeals and reviews
- Queries in relation to constitution
- Debt recovery matters, including recovery of care home debts
- Providing advice to internal and external clients
The Litigation Lawyer will be available immediately to begin on a full-time basis for 3 months initially, although there is a possibility that the role will continue beyond that.
