Sellick Partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Clerk of Works for a large social housing organisation based in Newcastle.

The role of the Clerk of Works is to assist the organisation in their construction and refurbishment works on an ongoing temporary basis. This work will ensure the health and safety of construction works.

Duties of the Clerk of Works:

  • Making sure building works are carried out to the highest standard
  • Visiting site and conducting pre and post inspections
  • Identifying and monitoring risks
  • Outlining the risks of weather conditions
  • Attending meetings and presenting reports
  • Signing off works
  • Using strong contractor management skills

Requirements of the Clerk of Works:

  • Relevant experience in social housing property services
  • Basic DBS
