Commercial Analyst

Commercial Analyst sought for by a market-leading general insurer. Our client is seeking a candidate with experience or interest in research and development to introduce emerging technologies and new methodologies to join them as a Commercial Analyst.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who wants to influence the profitability of a company across several different lines of business to join a market-leading insurer as a Commercial Analyst.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Analyst:

  • Engage in a variety of analytics exercises including data preparation, parameter selection, model building and model validation
  • Review and monitor the statistical validity and efficiency of all modelling, projection processes and techniques
  • Product, market and new business opportunity reviews to ensure insurance products meet customers' needs and demands and are in line with market best practice
  • Deliver performance reviews, MI and reporting to support decision making at the highest level to ensure business objectives are being met

Key Experience of the Commercial Analyst:

  • Detailed understanding of Loss Ratios
  • Experience working as a Pricing Analyst
  • Experience working in a Commercial Setting (preferable but not required)
