Contracts and Procurement Lawyer required for a public sector organisation in the North West on a locum basis. The initial placement length will be for 6 months, with the possiblity of an extension.

The successful Contracts and Procurement Lawyer will be required to draft and negotiate a range of contracts, and to advise on the following areas:

  • Rail / Shipping / Solutions Litigation
  • Employment
  • Environment
  • Regulatory relations and enforcement
  • Safeguards
  • Transport
  • Corporate risk management
  • National and international nuclear law
  • Insurance
  • Vires and State Aid
  • Information Governance
  • Intellectual Property
  • Compliance transactional and project work
  • Technology transfer arrangements and intellectual property transactions

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated contracts and procurement experience and a minimum of 6 PQE. Remore working if offered for the duration of the role and there are permanent opportunities for the right candidate.
