An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a Local Authority in South Yorkshire.

Our client is seeking a Commercial Lawyer to join the council's legal services team for an anticipated period of 4-5 months whilst they undertake permanent recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with a range of contract and procurement matters to include;

  • Service, supply and works contracts
  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on contracts in relation to construction, service level agreements, loan agreements, consultancy and IT matters
  • Advising on procurement matters

This position is to start towards the end of October. Candidates seeking part-time or full-time hours will be considered.
