We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a Public Sector Organisation in the North West. The role will run for an initial 6 month period and will be all remote working.

Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer who is able to hit the ground running in this role. The workload will encompass dealing with a wide range of contracts matters.

The successful candidate will be a confident Lawyer, with a proven background in managing a complex workload, including some projects based work.

The ideal Commercial Contracts Lawyer will come from a public sector background, although candidates with relevant experience in private practice are welcome to apply, provided they have relevant experience of dealing with public sector work.

Tasks could include:

  • Grant funding agreements
  • Partnering arrangements
  • Breach of contract
  • Termination and variation of contracts
  • Advising on related statutory powers, governance matters and schemes of delegation
  • Advising on more complex procurements for goods, works and services
