An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a Central Government organisation based centrally in Leeds.

This role will be based within a team responsible for providing specialist commercial advice to government on areas including public procurement law, contract law, IT, data security and state aid.

The successful candidate will need to be experienced in commercial contracts and procurement matters. Day to day responsibilities may include;

  • Public procurement
  • Contract drafting, interpretation and management
  • Grant agreements
  • State aid
  • Intellectual Property
  • Data Security
  • Contractual litigation and disputes

This position is to start ASAP, and the successful candidate will need to be able to commit to working full-time hours. A flexible working pattern, including working from home may be considered. This contract may be subject to an extension beyond the initial 3 months.
