Commercial Contracts Locum

Duration: 6 months +

Working hours: Full or part time hours will be considered

This role offers fully remote working

Hourly rate: Up to £55 per hour dependant on experience (outside IR35)

Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting on behalf of a longstanding client who is in need of an experienced local authority contracts locum.

As a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, Legal Executive or equivalent, the successful candidate will ideally have have relevant experience in the area of commercial contracts and procurement law. Recent relevant experience of social care contracts (including but limited to adult, children and public health social care) is highly desirable.

We are looking for a lawyer who is able to demonstrate: good legal skills and judgement; a pragmatic solution focused approach; strong client relationship and communication skills; an ability to work in a team with a collaborative approach; and, an ability to prioritise effectively and to work independently to meet deadlines.

In return you will be joining a supportive unit which provides a wide range of advice to both internal and external clients. Taking on tasks that are as challenging as they are rewarding, you will have the opportunity to advise on complex large-scale projects.
