Commercial Contracts Locum

Duration: 3 months +

Location: Hampshire

Role description

An experienced commercial contracts lawyer is required for a minimum of 3 months to join a busy commercial legal department to manage a mix of existing and new instructions. This role will be considered on a 4 or 5 day working week with the flexibility to work a day remotely.

You will be responsible for a broad range of legal areas from initial instruction to completion including: due diligence, drafting and negotiation. Commercial agreements may include: software agreements, education agreements, supply of service, construction and IP.

Person specification

Previous experience of drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts is essential for this role. Inhouse experience is highly desirable however experience gained from the public, not for profit and private sector will be considered.

Experience of technology agreements and/or procurement will also be highly advantageous.
