A Commercial Contracts Paralegal is required to join an excellent local authority based in London.
This is a great opportunity for a paralegal to undertake a role within a busy local authority. This local authority deals with a number of high value and complex commercial contracts, which makes this a very rewarding role.
The team are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking candidates with excellent attention to detail. This local authority will be able to offer flexibility in terms of working hours, along with some home working.
The successful Commercial Contracts Paralegal will have personal responsibility for working on interesting projects on behalf of the Council. Alongside this you will be dealing with the following:
- Working with the City West Home Transition Team to ensure the smooth transfer of documentation to the Council
- Leading on contract novation of existing contracts, ensuring that risks are mitigated
- Reviewing contracts to ascertain if there are termination rights and where appropriate to issue termination
Candidates who have an understanding of the Public Contracts Regulations and Commercial Contracts would be desirable. Candidates from either a private practice or local government background are encouraged to apply.
