Commercial Contracts Specialist wanted join an emerging in-house legal services team based in the West Midlands.

The ideal candidate will have in-house experience of drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts. Experience of an additional area of law such as litigation, property, employment law or governance would be desirable but not essential.

The successful Commercial Contracts Specialist will be able to handle a varied caseload and work well under pressure. They will liaise regularly with clients so must be personable and able to explain legal terms to people outside the field.

The role will begin on a 6 month basis initially, there is a strong possibility that the position will be extended further.

This position is full time, although candidates who require 4 days will also be considered.

In return, our client can offer some flexibility with homeworking after an initial settling in period and can present candidates with an opportunity to join and supportive and friendly team.

Candidates must be available to start at short notice.
