I have an excellent opportunity for a CIMA/ACCA Qualified accountant to join a market leading business as a Senior Finance Analyst in what is a newly created role. Joining the business during an exciting period of growth the successful candidate will support long term profit and margin maximization through the delivery of high quality product costing information. Adopting an inquisitive mindset and working dynamically across Supply Chain the candidate will be expected to calculate product costs in a way that supports true profitability understanding.

  • Support the ongoing product portfolio analysis and review process through the development of standard cost procedures that deliver more accurate product cost information and ultimately aid better financial decision making
  • Ongoing review of cost drivers identifying solutions to maximise cost efficiency with our Supply Chain and Commercial teams
  • Co-ordinating financial control framework review for Fixed Assets and Inventory controls, and supporting internal and external audit requirements for Supply Chain Finance.
  • Support the wider Supply Chain finance team where required in Manufacturing, Capital Investment, Procurement and commercial reporting
  • Co-ordination and delivery of new product costings
  • Analyse the impact of changes in product design and manufacturing processes upon product costs
  • Producing management information that demonstrate the impact of process changes and inflation upon product cost and profitability
  • Ensure month end close, forecast and budget activities relating to Standard COGs and inventory are completed within agreed deadlines and all associated financial controls are adhered to
