Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager for a growing e-commerce and publishing business in South Manchester. As a key member of the finance team you will manage all commercial aspects including budgeting and forecasting. Managing the wider team you will maintain high levels of reporting and present this to key stakeholders within the business.

Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you will manage a Commercial Analyst, Group Accountant and Sales Ledger, looking to continuously improve their reporting. This is a truly commercial role which will give you the opportunity to add value in a unique way. You will be the key point of contact for heads of department and directors in explaining complex financial data in easy to understand presentations.


* Manage the budgeting and forecasting for the wider business

* Lead on a transformation project and restructure, helping more junior candidates to develop their skill set

* Assist the wider executive team in producing business plans based on key financial reports

* Analysing current market trends and competitor analysis to provide comparisons against the business growth

* High level financial reports and analysis based on more junior reports created by the financial analyst

The person

The successful applicant will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ICAS) coming from a similar role, ideally with experience within the e-commerce industry. You will ideally have management experience within a SME business.

Due to the nature of this position it is necessary that the successful individual is able to liaise with multiple stakeholders and present complex financials in a simplified way. You should have a high level understanding of financial impacts and therefore be able to offer advice on how best to steer the business in order to achieve key milestones.
