An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial and Procurement Lawyer to join a public sector organisation in the North East.

Our client is seeking a locum Commercial and Procurement Lawyer for a minimum period of 6 months to join their Legal Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, advising and negotiating commercial contracts with a focus on IT contracts, service contracts, TUPE, information rights, intellectual property rights and advising on procurement matters to ensure compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, Legal Executive or equivalent of any level. Previous experience in providing legal advice in-house or within the public sector is preferred.
