My client is a leading and award-winning Legal 500 commercial practice with offices worldwide. Acting as a trusted advisor to a wide portfolio of clients in a range of specialist sectors, my client delivers advice and strategic guidance spanning the full legal spectrum, from non-contentious advisory and transactional work, to all forms of commercial litigation. The opportunity has come for Commercial Litigation Associate to join this dynamic and well-established team.

The successful candidate will be taking on a role which would involve running a caseload in a broad range of litigation matters. The commercial litigation department deals with a wide range of contentious matters including breach of contract, professional negligence, director, shareholder and partnership disputes, injunctions, IP disputes, financial litigation and fraud amongst others.

As a Commercial Litigation Associate, your duties will include:

  • Client liaison in person, in writing and over the telephone
  • Communicating with clients, litigants, solicitors, counsel, courts and all other interested parties
  • Drafting and proofing documents
  • Directing Counsel and experts
  • Preparation of reports to clients
  • Negotiation
  • Business expansion including preparation of articles and insights
  • Taking on additional tasks provided by the other members of the team
