Sellick Partnership is currently assisting a local authority based in London with the recruitment of a Commercial Property Lawyer for an initial 3 month basis.
This is a varied role which will encompass all aspects of commercial property, including but not limited to;
- Landlord and Tenant queries
- Transactional work e.g. leases and licenses for businesses, drafting and negotiating new commercial leases
- Hire agreements
- Commercial purchase and sales
- Acquisition and sales of freehold and leasehold land both registered and unregistered including option agreements
- Disposals in relation to housing sites and land to the registered provider; development agreements
- Dealing with lease extensions and enfranchisements
The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer, and will come from a commercial property background. Previous local authority experience is desirable but not essential.
The local authority are happy to accommodate the successful candidate a level of flexibility with working hours and working from home. The office is easy to reach, situated within walking distance from the town centre, making it easily accessible by public transport.
