Our client, a local authority based in the East Midlands are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to join their well-respected team.

The ideal candidate will be confident in dealing with a range of Commercial Property law matters including;

  • Carrying a caseload of landlord and tenant matters arising from the Council's land holdings within the borough
  • Granting and taking of new leases, lease renewals, and applications for consent to alter, assign and underlet
  • Conveyancing matters
  • Shared ownership agreements
  • Undertaking legal research on any matters relating to the Council's property portfolio
  • Dealing with miscellaneous property queries raised by service units, outside bodies and members of the public

The Commercial Property Lawyer position will be part time, working 3-4 days a week.
