We are looking for an experienced Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join a London Local Authority.
As a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer you will join a team dealing with a wide variety of matters including drafting and amending contracts, negotiating with third parties, advising and drafting procurement documents and providing legal advice to Local Authority Clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join a Local Authority that is a shared service with a wide variety of clients and the opportunity for some project work. The offices are accessible by close proximity to transport links and free parking. There may also be the opportunity to work from home for 1 day a week after a settling in period.
The ideal candidate will already have Local Government experience with good knowledge of public procurement, service contracts and data protection although candidates with private sector experience will also be considered.
The contract is for an initial 3 month period, although it is likely that this will be extended.
