Experienced Contracts Lawyer required to join a reputable London Borough, over a three month contract.

My client is seeking a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their successful, friendly team to assist with the busy workload. This is a great opportunity for a legal professional who is available immediately and/or has the capacity to pick up extra work over a short term contract.

The successful candidate will have experience working within a Local Authority, including procurement experience. You will be handling a variety of matters, including but not limited to:

  • Drafting a variety of specialist contracts (such as IT, service, framework, waste disposal)
  • Advising on GDPR and FOI matters
  • Negotiating with third parties
  • Advising and drafting procurement documents
  • Providing legal advice to Local Authority Clients

This role will be completely remote and my client is happy to discuss flexible working for the right candidate.
