Interesting, rare opportunity for a Contracts Lawyer to join a strong legal team over a locum contract, in a reputable London Borough.

Although the specialism of this role is Contracts and Procurement, my client would like the successful candidate to pick up some planning work as required. This would be a great opportunity for someone who wants variation and broaden their skillset! The duties of the role may include:

  • Drafting and amending contracts
  • Negotiating with third parties
  • Advising and drafting procurement documents
  • Providing legal advice to Local Authority Clients
  • Drafting and negotiating planning agreements relating to varied developments
  • Assisting planning and highway officers with committee reports and advising members and Council departments at development management briefings

My client is ideally seeking an experienced candidate, however is happy to consider candidates of a more junior level who have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. This is an opportunity not to be missed for someone looking to take on engaging work and continue your professional development within a welcoming and friendly team!

The role will be all remote and a courierer will be organised for equipment.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. If you are interested, please send across your updated CV to leah.edgar@sellickpartnership.co.uk.
